Original Painting -'Two chairs and a story' lakeside

Two Adirondack chairs are tucked under beautiful maple leaves.
 
When I was working on this piece, I imagined my son, Adam, sitting with me—he’s all the way out in Lake Tahoe, and I sure miss those real hugs.
 
The next day while continuing to paint in the studio I imagined my dad, who’s no longer with us, sitting along side me. I could hear his laugh and see his handlebar mustache dance like it used to. What a moment.
 
It got me thinking—who would you invite to sit next to you and share a memory? The kind that makes you smile and warms your heart.
 
Yet don't stop there, be like me, invite someone else you love. That’s what this painting is really about—sharing moments. That’s why I paint. To share the joy. To share the magic. To share the wonders that this painting can bring to your home.
