Original painting birch and cardinal -'Sweet Song' -10x 8"
My head turns every time I hear the two-part whistle of a cardinal. Its sweet song reminds me of my dad who could mimic its whistle. As a kid, I was mesmerized watching his handlebar mustache dance with each note.
It is believed that the cardinal representatives hope.
And it surely does for me.
This original painting with the cardinal hidden in the treetops is just like my dad.
He wasn’t one to stand out, but always there when I needed him, giving me hope. Not so much with encouraging words or bear hugs of affection.
The hope radiated from his dependable presence.
Hope doesn’t have to be big and bold. It can be quiet and laid back, like my dad.
Hope can be hidden like this cardinal in the treetops, but at your side to fuel you with positivity, comfort, and an inner peace knowing that you are never completely alone.
Remember you’ve got hope and cardinals who sing all about it.
'Sweet Song,' small original painting. Ready to hang. 10h x 8w x .51"d
