Some stories don't really end. They circle back.
My dad loved sunflowers almost as much as he loved his legendary mustache. Big. Bold. Impossible to ignore.
He especially loved watching birds feast on the giant seeds. They'd scatter them without realizing they were planting next year's flowers.
I think that's how love works too.
Maybe that's why painting sunflowers still feels like spending a little time with Dad.
